Using this data, businesses can gauge what their target demographic likes and whether their content strategy is working or not.<\/p>\n<p>To use Instagram insights, you must first have a business profile. For instance, if you see an increase in followers after going live, you can use this to form your future strategy.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Most_Active_Times\"><\/span><strong>Most Active Times<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>There isn\u2019t a single best time to post. Therefore, digging into your audience\u2019s most active times will help you optimize your posting strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick Tip:<\/strong> Post at times when your audience is most active to increase your content\u2019s chance to succeed- your followers are more likely to comment, like, or share your posts. Here you can sort posts based on the following metrics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Call Button Taps<\/li>\n<li>Comments<\/li>\n<li>Email Button Taps<\/li>\n<li>Follows<\/li>\n<li>Get Direction Taps<\/li>\n<li>Impressions<\/li>\n<li>Likes<\/li>\n<li>Post Interactions<\/li>\n<li>Profile Visits<\/li>\n<li>Reach<\/li>\n<li>Saves<\/li>\n<li>Text Button Taps<\/li>\n<li>Video Views<\/li>\n<li>Website Taps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may see even more options if you have Instagram\u2019s Shopping Features enabled.<\/p>\n<p>This is a great way to gain a holistic view of what content performs better. They consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Likes, Comments, and Sends:<\/strong> This is a great way to learn what posts encourages engagement from your Instagram community.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saves:<\/strong> This is a great metric to understand what kind of content has a more lasting value and inspires your audience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Website Clicks:<\/strong> It\u2019s a strong indicator that your audience liked what is saw and wanted to learn more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Discovery\"><\/span><strong>Discovery<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Discovery is the overall metric of your online presence. It shows how many times you are seen and discovered. It speaks of two things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reach:<\/strong> This is the number of <strong>unique accounts<\/strong> that have seen your post.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Impressions:<\/strong> This shows how well your post is performing.
